Glasgow G8 News Sheet - Call for Information

As a small, a self-organised, non-professional group we are currently working on producing a free, tabloid news sheet for distribution in and around Glasgow about the G8 Summit in Gleneagles and the diversity of planned protest, but also about promoting & explaining these along side community & micro-cultural issues.If you’d like to participate, to help us do this we’d be grateful if you could provide the following information for inclusion in the news sheet:

* a short description of the campaign / community group / project
* recent news / information
* regular, planned or one-off actions / events, dates
* contact details (as appropriate):
- name
- address
- tel/fax
- email
- web site

We need the info as soon as possible, as we intend to have the news sheet out for the beginning of June -- copies will be freely available.

Please circulate or feel free to suggest other groups/campaigns.

If you’d like more information or to help out in any capacity, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Many thanks,
Leigh French

PS.
This news sheet is only a small, one-off project, but we urge you to get involved in ‘The Glasgow User Manual’:
"The User Manual will be a "ground up" publication and will operate as a sympathetic "ear" and "voice" for the working class people and groups -- their events, meetings, culture, activities and ideas which are rarely listed in other publications."
