To coincide with Glasgow Art Fair, the Scottish Artists Union is hosting
an evening of talks and discussions on the theme of Artists, Galleries
and Money.  Invited speakers will relate some of their experiences of
dealing with money, tax and contracts through short presentations and a
panel discussion with the audience.  The intention is to explore some of
the financial and contractual practices employed by artists and
galleries, and to highlight payment and VAT issues raised by SAU
members.  The event will also provide a forum to raise artists' current
concerns to inform future SAU policy and activities.

The Speakers and panel include Donald Urquhart, Artist; Colin
Greenslade, Exhibitions Officer, Royal Scottish Academy; Angela Bedi,
VAT expert and members of the Scottish Artists Union Executive
committee.  Please come along to add your voice and experiences to the
discussion.
