Saorsa Social Centre invite you to 'Opening Weekend' on the 29th & 30th of October.

Dear Friend
We at the Saorsa Social Centre invite you to join us at our 'Opening Weekend' on the 29th & 30th of October. There will be food, films and the opportunity to print a T-shirt of your own design.
The fun starts at noon and runs till late each day, we hope you will come and join us for chat & grub & music & that. We aim to use the centre to promote grassroots political activity in the Govanhill & Pollokshields area.

We have broadband internet access, meeting and exhibition space, various tools and kitchen facilities for groups and individuals to use. Come along and see how we can work together. Email g42collective@riseup.net or phone 0141 423 9055 for more details, or just drop by for a chat.

Hope to see you then! The G42 Collective SAORSA SOCIAL CENTRE 674 Pollokshaws Road Glasgow G41 2QE Directions to the Social Centre:

By foot: Walk along Pollokshaws Road past the MacDonalds, cross the junction with Calder Street, after the car showroom and just before the junction with Allison Street you will see the Flames chippie. Next door is an archway with a gate - we're through there and around at the back! By public transport:

Buses from the city centre to Eglington Toll will drop you off just past the MacDonalds on Pollokshaws Road (the 38 is very frequent and you can get it from Union Street and Hope Street.) It costs about 85p. You can also get quick trains from Glasgow Central station to Queens Park which is only two streets away - costs about £1.20. There's also limited parking through the archway for cars.
