STILL WE RIDE - touring videomakers coming
Hi all,This is Andrew Lynn from the US. I was recommended to you by a friend ancollaborator of mine James Leadbitter.I will be living in England for the month of September and currently, my partner and I are in the midst of planning a mini-tour of the UK inSeptember for a video we have recently completed called Still We Ride. Its a
documentary movie about Critical Mass which follows the ongoing and absurdpolice crackdown on monthly bike rides in NYC.I am in search of people who are in contact with venues interested in screening activist media. We are just getting started and have booked a date in Leicester on Sept. 24. It is also programmed into the Bicycle Film Festival in London which is 1-4 September. We are in search of friendly venues that can gather a good number of people and be ok with us taking ome of the door money towards our travels. We would love to screen in Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Bristol. Our dates are still very flexible, but we are working with various people and want to try to shape something in the next month. We will be based in Nottingham. PLEASE GET IN TOUCH IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP SCREEN THIS VIDEO. Still We Ride is 37 min. long. We will be touring with a couple shorts to fill in to feature length if necessary.

The movie has been a hit everywhere it has screened so far: NYC (two sold out premier shows), Leiscester, Copenhagen, Los angeles, Pittsburgh, Finland (Helsinki, Turku, and Pori), and a few others. The next screening is at the World Carfree Conference in Budapest. We are going to be doing a screening in Berlin, hopefully, in September as well.
Interested in collaborating with two touring filmmakers and/or screening a unique bike/police video from the USA - or know others who might be able to help - or have any ideas?... let us know! I am attaching some info about the doc and a proposed presentation so you can get a better idea of who we are and if this is something worth pursuing.
