The Director of Public Affairs at the Israeli embassy, Mr D. Shacham, is visiting the Scottish Parliament tomorrow, Wed 16th March.  He is "happy to meet with any MSPs with an interest in the Middle East". Why should MSPs be happy to meet with the representative of such a blood-soaked regime, a rogue state which defies world opinion to carry out its incessant ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people? Why should Israel be allowed to boycott the recent London conference on Palestine and then send its spinmaster to chat with our elected representatives?

Some Glasgow University students are very keen to meet with Mr Shacham to get answers to questions:
*Why is Mordechai Vanunu still being detained in Israel?
*Why does the Israeli Embassy issue smears alleging that Vanunu has been involved in terrorism

*Why does Israel violate so many UN resolutions on Palestinian human rights?
Why does Israel engage in illegal collective punishments of civilians under itsa control?
*Why is Israel deliberately devastating the Palestinian economy, causing immense misery?
*Why did Israelis ELECT a mass murderer as Prime Minister? (Iraqis never elected Saddam Hussein)
*Why is Israel still building its separation wall on Palestinian territory?
*Why does Israel deliberately kill children, even 3-year olds? (Mohammed Al Durrah, Iman Al Hams, and hundreds more)++
*Why is Israel occupying parts of Syria and Lebanon?
*Why does Israel build Jewish-only roads on the Occupied Territories
*Why did numbers of illegal Jewish settlers in the Occupied Territories rise last year by 6%?
*Why does Israel have atom bombs, hydrogen bombs, and neutron bombs far beyond any defensive needs?
*Why has Israel erected a monstrous apartheid system in Palestine?
